so! CNY is here. nth much happening, except for the party at 'Chelle's place. okok, so technically, i'm supposed to call her aunty n stuff. buttttt..... she said, she hates the term 'aunty', especially since the age gap aint all that huge. hence, i'm to call her Michelle, or ah 'Chelle, as the whole family has been doin so. (great! now there's 3 Michelle's in my life. how confusing can tat be?)

grandpa outcooked himself, preparing tonnes of food, enuf to feed my whole Uni... (exegerating, of course!) and den, there was desserts: longan, ice cream, orange liquor. of course, me being me, had a bit of everything. the orange liquor was delicious! n i drank almost half of mom's share as well. (will post pics later)

den after tat, was the 5A bai nian. was actually seriously contemplating not going. but after the phone call from SK, i decided, 'wat the hell.. might as well give it a go..' to be honest, i was apprehensive about it. but it was good. met up with the others, even had dinner with them. after dinner, they came to my place, n v played Ginrummy, which incidentally, i learnt how to play at Chelle's place. it was fun... at the end of the day, i'm glad i went out afterall, even if it meant being lethargic.

a facade. that's wat it always has been about. in fact, quite successful, in that people perceive me as cold. but i quite like being fussed over, especially during my bday. so yeah, i enjoyed being in the center of attention for the day.


one would say it's rather mundane, boring to a certain point: movie, lunch, walk. but for me, it was the company tat really mattered. went for 'Sweeney Todd' with kejun, mabel, peikay n last bt not least, yuhe. yuhe n kejun actually came to my place 1st, dropping off my present, (earrings) n my bday cake (cheese cake, courtesy of yuhe). :D ok, so Sweeney Todd aint exactly the epitome of a happy birthday, yet, it was interesting. one would say it's the exact opposite to a joyous day, but it's MY bday, so i watch the show i goddamn well wanna watch! (bit aggressive, n defensive. :P) of course, after that, v grabbed a bite at Ichiban Ramen, where i was told, the bday gal CANNOT eat rice. yea rite! hahaha....


after that, peikay sent me back, n stayed back for a chat n a slice of cake. talking about cake. omg! i really love that cheese cake. despite it not being as good as a Secret Recipe cake, or aunty layling's cakes, it'll remain one of the BEST cakes i've eaten, all because of the person behind all the effort. thanks so much, yuhe! makes me wanna go up to her n just hug her. nt tat i wont, jz tat it's wistful thinking on my behalf rite? i mean, come on! i wont want history repeating itself. it's done tat once too often. (perhaps i really should consider the alternative)


den today, or rather yesterday (it being the 4th), yuanyih came over with her family, n gave me a cake too! omg! my 2nd cake, n i'm still waiting for my cake from jein. (u noe wat to do ya! ^^) i absolutely love it! even if it was a bit over the top, she sure knows how to celebrate a bday with me... hehe..
sinful thought: if she had any inclinations in my way, i wont mind taking up her offer. ;)
like i said,i dun really demand attention, bt it's really nice to be fussed over during ur bday, jz this once. to be treated as if u're the oni important person tat ever existed sure beats most things on earth. of course, if i had someone special to spend it with, jz the 2 of us, it'll be even more perfect, ya?? hahaha.... wistful thinking, wistful thinking... hahaha... :)

countdown

let's see. it's the 1st of feb, n WONG KANG YUN IS BACK!!!! gosh!! i miss tat fella... as crazy as she is, she's one of the best things tat happened to me in TCSJ. ever since she went to melb, it seems quieter here in msia. hehe. i'm so looking forward to meeting her soon.

b4 tat, let's look back. i went back to hostel on wed, 30th, with Siew Pei. to be honest, i never really talked much with her during our 6 years of acquaintance. yet, i suppose we got along rather well during those few hours. :) it was real cool... will post some pics up later. :)

and nw, something else to look forward to: sunday. :) i managed to bully yuhe into making cake for me, n coming back from kl to celebrate bday. :P i sound like a brat, a spoiled brat eh? i think so too. :( ah well! the important thing is tat she doesn't really mind, N i get to enjoy her company for the better part of the day. ;)

Gardens

finally, i can say tat i've been to the Gardens. ok ok, so i may sound kinda ulu, seeing that the Gardens opened last year. but i was really busy, n din really have the time to walk around n shop. my 1st impression of that place, was that it was similiar to Pavillon, yet perhaps not so high-end.

went out with jein, mich, n 2 of their frenz. v met last night, whn they joined us for dinner, den pyramid. it was cool, jz walking around, n window shop. trying to get a pair of walking shoes. unfortunately, it is either too expensive, or jz not nice, at least, not my type of eye candy. so basically, ended up NOT buying anything.

AND I GOT MYSELF IN DEEP SHIT. playing with fire, and getting burnt is one thing, but playing other ppl is another thing. goddammit.

Game Plan KLCC

went out with HP today. went go klcc to watch 'game plan'. it's a real good movie, so i highly recommend that you go watch. it's a family comedy of sorts, very enjoyable.

b4 n after the movie, we did some window shopping. we did manage to get books, the difference being: i) the language, n ii) i got it for a friend.

after movie, we walked around abit, n ended up eating at Burger King. she din feel like goin back, so we hanged around abit. went n had a look at some costume jewellery, where i showed her her bday present (which i forgot to bring down, stupid me) n she really liked it. :) at the end, she end up buying a bracelet, which matches her bday present real well.

on the way back, it was really packed. even when we left at 6 something, it was crowded!! exactly like the song she was singing, 'wo bu pei [i'm not worthy]'. the opening lyrics were really apt in our situation.

on the whole, it was a good day out, seeing tat i oni managed to confirm with her LATE last night. tat pig went for haircut, den went to dad's shop n NVR BRING phone. it was cool.... had a good time, kinda... :P

back from Johor Bahru today. it was fun, spending time with Kat n Mel. at 1st, i couldn't make it, cz uncle johnny wasn't free. however, everything worked out perfectly fine. took the bus down on a wednesday, and uncle J brought us to go eat the famous Johor Bak Ku Teh. it was nice!! different from our SS14 Bak Ku Teh, but nice. definitely will wanna go back there to eat again..

after lunch, they brought me to city square, den at night went over to city plaza. on thursday, we went over to singapore in the afternoon. met up with lishan in singapore. friday, which was yesterday, we went over to holiday plaza, and den headed over to danga bay, where mel nearly fainted due to hunger (we had breakfast at 12 noon). we had 'Kuey Tiow Kia' for dinner. it was NICE! hehe.... something v dun get up north here, unfortunately.....

came back today, after lunch. had a dish i nvr heard of before, 'chicken fish'. is actually fish, that looks like drumstick
