Meh! Look at that! Seriously? I have no clue, if that lizard was soaking, like in a water tub, or it was dead. You see, I kinda had to help Erica get rid of it, since that girl is terrified of lizards. I poked its head and there was no response, so I assumed it was dead. Then, I poured out the water, and turned the pot upside down over the dustbin. When the 'body' landed, it kinda rustled the stuff in there, and so till now, I'm wondering, if it was dead or alive.



(Btw, it was in the rice cooker.)

Did I mention that my idiot was involved in a car accident? Drink and drive. Sigh. That woman is making me age faster than anything. She's so accident prone that it seems like she's getting injured, on average, once a fortnight. Sigh. Anything can happen to her.

Anyway, that's just a short line about my baby. I wanted to talk about my shopping expedition with the monkie and the piglet, ie, Jein and Esther. We went shopping for something for Jein's bf, had dinner at Wendy's, and ended up spending tons of time at Giant. They had to get stuff to make hampers out of for the event they have on today.

And so, yeah, we bought like, a whole trolley full of junk food, worth around rm96++. Can you imagine it? I bet the cashier woman and everybody who saw us there thought we were gorging on junk food. =.=

We started wrapping the hampers at night, around 11+. And, we ended up finishing the wrapping at around 2. Wow. We had a lil midnight snack and studied a lil, and went back to sleep. =) Will post up the pictures after this weekend I think, or sometime when I'm somewhere with a good, fast connection. =x

Till then, ciao! I'll be at Puchong, cause my uncle is getting married on Saturday.

Check THIS out. This is what happens when you're the younger one amongst a household full of pranksters like us. Us namely me and Jein. Oh, don't get me wrong. Mei Pow and Mel join in the games as well, it's just that the both of us are more, well, active. And Esther, well, she's the youngest and her turn will come soon, that is a promise. LOL!

Anyway. That video, was taken after Mich was pelted with rotten eggs, doused with ice cold water, and smashed with whipped cream. She tried to step into our room, but she was.... deterred. Bear in mind that she really really stinks, and the fact that Mel can't really speak Chinese or dialects. Hahahaha... Oh right! Before I forget, it was Mich's very very belated bday celebs, since we couldn't get together sooner then this. :X

It was a pretty cool ending to a pretty fun day out. We went to Sunway Lagoon earlier that day. Despite a lil hiccup, I really had fun. Despite the fact that I was freezing in the pool during the rain, it was really really enjoyable. I can understand why people like to just lie back and enjoy the waves. I'm thinking if it was this enjoyable with friends, it would surely be better if i brought her go as well right? =)

But yea, a terrific day out, a fabulous dinner, and an exciting ending to a long day out. What else could a girl ask for? Oh wait, there is, but, let's just let it slide. I was dead tired that day, and I slept at... 5 am. All because I was chatting with Michelle from Singapore. The more I get to know her, the more intrigued I am about her. She's interesting and I don't mind getting to know her a lil better. There's just something about her that screams 'Mystery' and 'Intrigue'.

Perhaps, one day, I'll post a lil bit more about this new friend of mine. Till then, ciao! Toodles! I'm off for my daily dose of chocolates. =)

So. Today is Li Hui, or better known among us as Camel's birthday. AND! We did it all in style. Trust me, when it comes to pranks, and us, it's bound to be messy and fun. :D

To make it special, we started celebrations at midnight, or rather, close to midnight. Jein was at my place since after dinner, to do the card, and stuff, and study a lil. And a big thank you to Esther, or else we would have all forgotten about the cake. *blushes*

So basically, the scenerio was like this: The card was done, the can of whipped cream in the fridge, the balloons were waiting to be filled, and both Esther and Jein were studying. Me and Mel were in the room, on the computer, when all of a sudden, Jein shouted: " LAURA!! WHY DIDN'T YOU REMIND ME ABOUT THE CAKE??!" I was shocked, I couldn't really get in a coherent thought. Then, we just piled into Jein's BF's car, drove by Jein, of course, and went to Cake Sense at SS15, SJ. Got this pandan cake, which is like, alternate layers of pandan sponge cake and pandan jelly. NICE!

Okok. So now the story really begins. Around 11. 30 or so, Jein and I made our way to Jein's place. Then I made a phone call to my GF. Talked to her for a short while, and told her I'll call her back after the surprise celebrations. Then Camel was asking me questions about my gf, and so the time passed. After getting the green light from Esther, we lured her over to Esther's place. She was on the phone for a while with her friend, when Jein kinda persuaded her to talk later.

When she was walking down the last stairway, ahead of me and Jein, she kinda turned around to talk to us. THAT, was the perfect opportunity for Esther and Mel. It was as if, LiHui knew they were there and presented them the perfect position to toss water balloons on her.

So so so. Can you imagine this? Me and Jein on the stairway, and LiHui, at the foot of the stairway, just turns around and talk to us, when all of a sudden, from behind the bushes, out comes Esther and Mel, each armed with a water balloon. Plop! Plop! Plop! Plak! And just like that, she got pelted with 4 balloons b4 she could even react. The best part was when Mel wanted to hit her with the 4th balloon.

That crazy woman was soaking wet from head to toe. :D :D Then they came over to our place. She thought it was over. *evil grin* She was talking to Esther, when yours truly (mischief pranker) comes out with a huge dollop of whipped cream and just smashes it into her face. *Muahahahahaha* She was SHOCKED! She even let me smear it all over her face, neck, and hands.

We took group pictures, and I smashed another mini cream pie on her face as well. *smirks* I just realized I really like doing all this. Feel like I kinda missed out on my childhood, not having ppl like this to play with. So bear with me for a few more years, I've got lots to catch up with. *winks*

It was really fun, and it was a success pranking and surprising her that night. I really enjoyed myself and with hopes, everybody did. Now, on to the next project! ;)

Mini road trip

Before telling you people about the great time I had in Penang, grant me a couple of moments of silence....

Ok. Penang was FANTASTIC! The company was great, and I actually had fun. A good trip is one with lots of good memories. The food was fabulous, and the conversations were kind of funny.

KC: Celine! Let's go Pacific!
Celine: Serious ar? Really meh? Don't want la
WC: Yaya! Let's go visit your parents! KC can put on a bear suit and dance and attract customers!!
Celine: No need la. He go and dance now oso can attract customers, no nid bear suit.

The drive up from Sg. Buloh was rather noisy, I suppose. We were talking quite a bit. After lunch, we, namely me and WC, fell asleep while KC drove on. We made rather good time, traveling up north. From Celine's place, our 1st stop on the island was Gurney. Now, I suppose everyone knows about Gurney, especially Gurney Drive. It's quite the tourist attraction, I reckon it's because of the long rows of food stalls. The food was alright. We went into this hotel, I think it's called G. Gosh! It. Was. Spectacular!!

I think, we basically toured the whole of Penang Island in 1 day. We visited Kek Lok Si Temple, Batu Ferengghi, the Sleeping Buddha and the Botanical Gardens on Tuesday. Kek Lok Si Temple was by far, one of the more interesting places that day. The place was gorgeous, but what made it interesting was what happened there. You see, upon reaching, WC, Celine and me posed for KC to snap a picture of us. When WC moved away towards KC, this foreign dude standing behind KC took his camera, and requested for us to pose for a picture. *It was a silent request*

We went up to the Kuan Yin statue there, and we looked around. WC and I donated money to the building of the shrine/pagoda(?) around the statue by buying a tile, and having our names written on it. It's rather cool. KC bought 2, one for himself, one for his parents. (so filial) The 4 of us took a breather at this little hut on the water (dont know what they call it). When we wanted to leave, we snapped another picture, of us together, and guess what, that dude appeared again. He snapped our picture, again. This time, KC even offered to help him snap a picture of him, with the 3 of us. That brings a total of 3 pictures of me, residing with a stranger. Sigh.

At Batu Feringghi, we hung around at the beach. It made me want my baby even more. That time, at the beach, was the time I felt the loneliness most acutely during the whole trip. Basking in the beach breeze, leaning against the rocks while doing some people watching made me want to have my baby in my arms. Sometimes I wonder, if we'll ever get the chance to spend time together, with each other, quality time that lets me think back with a smile on my face. If only...

The rest of it is about the food. I care more about the experience, and so I decline blogging about food. Sides, I never took any pictures of the food(s) involved. I guess you'll just have to take my word for it when I say it's DELICIOUS.

My latest addition in the zoo. She's just terribly slow when it comes to *erhem* certain stuff.

Mel Mok - (Spastic cat)
My roommate, whose name is the same as that emitted from a cat/kitten.

Natalie - (Mousey)
Small and timid, exactly the epitome of the name.

Lee Ean - ( Ean-y the puppy)
Dun ask me why puppy... It just stuck. Puppy is cute... and infinitely innocent... (dun corrupt her!)

Li Hui - (Nomad Camel)
Nomad... just like a pilot... Unfortunately, this camel sucks at long distance. (C-A-C-A-T)

Esther Lee - (Piglet)
Yeah, exactly like 1. likes food and is small sized.... small enough to be hugged from behind then tickled... (and she is goddamn ticklish!)

Sze Jein - (Dolphin)
She's actually a hybrid... a combination of dolphin+monkey+elephant+human. But since I cant find such a picture (they dun really exists i suppose.. wonder how she was even conceived), I suppose a dolphin is the best description of her. (free spirited)

Kang Yun - (Lil Dino)
Dunno why she calls herself dino... but I guess it stuck. So here goes! (darling! as cute as u le!)

One of the cutest of the lot, my whaley (whose name was penned by Mel) is coincidentally the 'obese' owner of my 'spastic cat'.... Wonder how did that ever happened...


So there! The formal introductions all done with.... I should totally come up with nicks for Jie, Jo, Megan and Mich. But for the record... My 'animals' are just sooo cute!

Dinner

You know, I got the shock of my life when I found out that my whaley actually walked all the way from hostel to USJ11. It took her 4 hours to and fro. Honestly, I thought that she was out of her mind. Even more so when she invited me to walk with her to 1 Utama.

But after walking with her to SS15 today for dinner just now, I realized the joy in it. Apparently, it is quite enjoyable walking a short distance away. Despite the 20 odd minutes walk, we weren't all that tired after all. We even went up to AsiaNet to say hi to Julian and Richard. We watched them DoTA. Gosh! They really are pro!

After watching them almost losing the game, but turning the tide at the end, we were hungry, so we went for Bak Ku Teh. Yummy gorgeous Bak Ku Teh. Hope that jie remembers to bring me go soon ba! (Hoping against all odds)

We had our dinner, then went back to Asia Cafe to look for them. Got down to chatting, and I found out that Richard is from the same school as me, my so-called junior. Wow! This once again confirms the fact that the world is SMALL!

Anyway. I had fun walking with whaley today.

Lao de n xiao de came back on friday. gosh! miss them so much!! neways, lao de couldn't join us for dinner, so oni me, jein, mel, esther and xiao de went to 1U... since esther lost her bet regarding her SPM straight A's result, she treated us to dinner. of course, this happened only after we almost toured the whole 1U mall, new wing n old wing..... ended up at Fish & Co, and the food there was awesome!!

in the midst of dinner, lao de msged jein... and so we quickly finished dinner, den hurried back to sunway to pick her up... :) we went to the side gate, n bumped into DaJie... den lao de came out with jiyen.... we went out for movie, 'Spiderwick Chronicles'.... den den den... since the movie started at 11.55 pm... we went to the arcade 1st... met jiyen's fren... gosh!! so yeng la weii!!! totally dig wat the fella wore... yeng yeng yeng! pity i dont do caps... it's like, so wow!

oh ya! talking bout the arcade.... mel n jiyen went dancing.... not bad!! den the movie... ok.. i have to apologize here, cz i was like, yawning quite frequently during the show... but seriously... it was a good show.. one of the more memorable quotes of the show was:

'what happens if he does??'

'what happens??! i'll tell you what happens... i die, you die, we all die.. byebye!!!'

ahaha... nice rite, the way tat fella put it.... haha... den after tat, we decided to go back, as it was pretty late, and lao de n xiao de got convocation the nx day... by the time i actually went back home, it was like, 2 am... wanted to go sleep immediately, den that erica opened her door, so ended up chatting for awhile, till almost 3 am...

went to the Kelana Jaya with her at around 7. 40 am den she went on to 1U, den we parted ways there....
