I know, it's a pretty old song, n probably not at all famous. but i like it, and am kinda hooked onto it at the moment. a sad song, about missing someone who probably dumped u. so i admit. i'm missing someone. and reality came knocking on the door today. no matter what, the final answer would still be 'no'.. so y keep waiting and hoping? i think, i believe, i can settle for being the best friend you can ever have.
i'm not noble, nor will i ever be. some may say the act i'm to take is a noble one, but the truth is, it's far from noble. it's one of cowardice. and the fact that despite my best moves, and every postive response i get, final answer will still be no, is a major push in tat direction. i'm way emo now... i wish i had wings and could fly. fly to somewhere i wont be able to meet you, somewhere my broken heart can be mended. perhaps, somewhere i can find love.

genting highlands

I'm back from Genting Highlands!! It was a cool trip man!! Mind-blowing!! let me tell u the details.
on Friday, me, Mel and Taryn met up with Ee Li at Bukit Bintang there, at Taryn's mom's office there. we went to check out bout the bus tix, den went over to Sungai Wang to do some shopping, and basically jz chill. ;) den from there, we went back to Taryn's place, and played basketball. (Psst! i sucked at it! someone teach me? :P) den Ee Li dropped us off and went home for dinner/supper, while Mel and I had maggi. after maggi, we each took a bath, and den jz chit chatted for a while. slept at around 1. 30 am?? haha... summore Taryn say wanna sleep early wor... ahahha.... at 10 pm wor...... LOL!!!
on Saturday, I woke up at 6.30 n took a bath, and v left the house at around 7 something.. reached there b4 8, gt our tix, and went for breakfast at Imbi market... we were on time for the bus, but v din noe tat v shud be there early to board it... lucky the bus was jz reversing at that time.. of course, v kena frm d whole busload of oldies... ISH!! dun they noe the meaning of patience?? it's jz, wat?? 5mins delay??? and v were NOT LATE!!! we were punctual. ON TIME!!! ish... slap the whole lot of them... we were seperated, with Mel and Taryn and Ee Li sitting together, and me alone.. :( so, the next best thing is to sleep to while time away..
we reached the skyway at around 9.25am, and boarded the gondola numbered 88. reached GH at 9.45 approx. msged Michelle. she was shocked. she told us to look see look see around while waiting for her to reach at 12 noon. so we went to the arcade and played... basketball!! nice long rows of arcade tix.. :P den we went n ate KFC... we were almost finished when Michelle called. she sounded kinda pissed off cz we weren't at the lobby yet... when we met her, at the hotel lobby, we apologized to her and her parents. den after admiring our suite, (yes, suite!) we went down to the theme park, and had fun.
our 1st ride was the spinner. den we went on to other rides like, fun kart, cockscrew, cyclone, pirate ship, space shot, flying dragon, flying coaster, mini train and boat ride. so i was a chicken, seeing tat i was shouting like a baby the 1st time we went on the pirate ship. (sked it went 360' mer) n the only time i went for the flying coaster. so humiliating! Uncle actually went twice, and chicken me went once. omg! AND, i din go the space shot. sked my heart couldn't take it... hahaha
Uncle Teh, as he affectionally calls himself, took us to the archery arena, where we all learnt to use the bow n arrows... it was fun!! ;) den we went back and rest... dinner was at 7 something, at Ming Ren restaurant... Gosh!! uncle spent a bomb there, wat with all those dishes of lamb. the dessert was fabulous!! minty and refreshing.. the perfect after dinner treat... ;)
we went back to the theme park for a couple more rides b4 they shut down. den, we went n checked out Safari and Cloud 9. decided to go Cloud 9 instead, cz of the relatively high cover charges at Safari. we went up, and Michelle told her dad bout our plans... uncle n auntie joined us at Cloud 9 wer we had a good time... Mel and Michelle were eager to dance, and Taryn n I drank jz enuf to loosen up. we mixed beer and wine for that instantaneous effect... my guess is, oni Ee Li wasn't very high... as we nicely put it, not there yet.. :P uncle took vids of us, erhem, kinda dancing... gosh!! so paiseh!! i think i look like a retard laa...... :( will post the vids up after sem break, maybe.. :P den after all those drinking, we went back to shower and have supper, ie, room service: Abalone noodles, vege, shrimp dumplings and porridge. gosh!
Sunday. breakfast at 10, and Snow World at noon. it was fun, despite the minor hiccups.. haha... the pics were great too... ;) den we had lunch, and den made our way down... went back to Taryn's place and had some dinner, den she sent us back to hostel.
Much thanks to Michelle and her parents, and to Taryn and her parents. owe them so much! thanks guys, for a wonderful time... was fun hanging out with Taryn, Ee Li, Mel and Michelle... it was a great trip... ;) perhaps another time? blek!

And so. A day of much knowledge. Perhaps i should, just forget it all. Perhaps I should, just let it go. Perhaps I really should, stop getting too close. A moth drawn to the fire. Will I get burned?

Wow! it's been quite the week, wont u agree?? ever since Monday, we have been discussing about Genting Highlands.... n NOT assignments... lol! den, on tuesday, we, meaning me, Mel n Mich went for movies... we watched 'Knocked Up'... it's a story about one night stands, condoms, and the importance of connecting and communicating... it also highlights the fact that we should not judge a book by its cover... it's about this lady, who went clubbing to celebrate her promotion, and met this guy, with whom she got smashed and had a one night stand. den she got pregnant and den, go figure! :P
neways. went out with Mel n Mich on that day. we kinda went shopping 1st before our show started... spent a fortune at Body Glove... buying 2 pants and 3 tees... omg! haha... den movie, den Mich's mom sent us back to hostel... hehe.... (i guess wat Dr. Ting said is true... friend's opinion DO count)
so that was tuesday. N assignments still untouched.
Mel n I went out on thursday again with Taryn... we went to watch 'Ratatoiee'!! hehe.... finally!! the movie was at 8.30, since we were there at around 6, thanks to ganli giving us a lift, we decided on dinner 1st, den shop abit... we wanted to go sushi king at 1st, cz conveyor belt rm2 per plate.... unfortunately, no member card (forgot to take from jein..) so we ended up in Pizza Hut... bad service prompt a complain from us, resulting in a discounted rate... :D cheers! after dinner, walked around abit... den movie... den taryn's mom gave us a lift back to hostel...
N assignments still untouched.
friday, there was massive discussion on9, not about assignments, bout about genting.... omg!! LOL... we were talking about it till quite late, and i managed, amazingly, to finish my marketing by 3 am... den after that, i flopped on the bed, and snored... :(
left law assignment.
saturday came. i woke up at around 10, and started doing law. by 6 pm, i was successful in writing, 535 words out of the 1700 word limit. sigh. and now. i'm doomed.
however. that is not the highlight of the day. the highlight was, GRANDPA BDAY!!! ahha... early celebrations, nt the actual one.. but still!! we went to this seafood restaurant, which according to grandpa, is at Gombak. 1st we had clams, den belacan kangkung, den kailan, den ostrich meat, den prawns, crabs, and last but not least, OYSTERS!!! hehehe.... on average, we each had a glass of red wine and white wine.. making it 2 glasses each... kinda... den it was camwhoring season!!! hahahaha... took pics of, and with the whole gang... hehe... upload later the pics.. hehe... den we went back and ate cake!!! aunty layling baked my fav CHOCOLATE CAKE!! hehe... yummy!!!!
den we had a good time, laughing and joking... hehehe... maybe some time later will get pics from Mel... ;) Mel as in my cousin Mel... who, coincidentally shares the same hometown, same name, and same age as my roommate. haha...
N my law assignment is still nt done.
N my life is hanging by a tread. if law is nt done by monday, i'll jump off the cliff. :P

this is plain sad. wenchean, my dear dear former roommate, the 1st i ever shared a room with, has up n gone. :( she's left for UK for her Biomedical degree. i'm so gonna miss her.

she's the best roommate one can ever have. to have gotten to know her for a brief one year, is like a miracle. i can still recall the time i first met her.

it was in Dec 2005, when i went to enrol in Taylors College, for my SAM programme. she so happened to be there also, chatting with the counselor i met before in one of those education fairs. not only did we enrolled at the same time, we even ended up renting the same place, same room. i was a mere 10 minutes faster den her. we both decided to go for the non air-con room, and hence become roommates. i still remember thinking, 'wow! she's so tall. looks smart too. hope i can get along well with her.'

den in Jan 2006, we officially started staying together. we became friends, and soon close friends. she's not oni a roommate to me, but also someone dear to my heart. all the times we spent together, the chats we had, the conversations, the laughter, the jokes, the movies, the dinners, the emo-ness... she witnessed all my ups and downs, and vice versa.

i never imagined me missing someone like this. i miss her so much. i miss her till my heart aches. i miss her till i want to cry. i miss the times we had together, the laughter and jokes we shared. i miss telling her my day, how it went, and listening to her stories. i miss the times we went for movie, and dinner, and the times i accompanied her to practice her piano.

wenchean. the one who made such an impact on my life, has gone off to UK, and i wont be seeing her anytime soon. she's more den just a roommate, she's the one person i've gotten close to in such a short period of time. she's a good friend, and may she do well in everything she tries her hand in. if u're reading this, i wish u all the best. and that i'm gonna miss u like crazy. :(

ok. so basically, after hours and days of rushed planning, we finally had the celebrations yesterday. wat's with the marketing assessment and assignments, the celebrations were welcoming. definitely had a cool time yesterday. well.. basically, it was blowing of the cake, the cutting, and the eating.. and most importantly, the camwhoring session. lol!!

why cant anyone see me breaking? i'm breaking, i'm falling, i'm cracking. and there is nobody there for me to turn to when everything fails. am i finally feeling the pressure? it sure as hell aint the pressure of studying, that much i can assure you. suddenly, i have an enormous urge to just run into the sunset, just keep running, without looking back, without turning back, without glancing back. god knows how i'm feeling now.

to put so much on the line just for a crush. what the hell am i thinking? i'm sorry kang, i din listen to your advice last year. regrets regrets. i'm so sick of it. so disgusted with my actions. i dun give a damn if anyone else finds out, jz, dear god, let it not be my mom. i feel like i'm walking towards the top of the cliff, on the verge of breaking down.
